Unable to connect to known home network (despite working fine yesterday)?!

I have successfully connected my ipad to my home network for a couple of months now with no issues. However, all of a sudden today, I am not able to connect. Some additional info:

I am "sharing" the ethernet connection to my MacBook via airport. I have set it up with a username and password (which has not changed).

Any ideas on what might be the problem? My MacBook Pro connects great, as does my iPod Touch and my Tivo – just not my iPad. I have restored the network settings, restarted the wi-fi, and even played witht he brightness settings (per another post) but no dice!

Any suggestions? Thanks for the help

MacBook Pro 13", Mac OS X (10.6.4), iPad wi-fi, 16gb, (3.2.2)

I've seen similar things before with an airport base station, some devices worked and some didn't. Restarting the base station would fix this. If you have restarted the MacBook sharing the connection and it still doesn't work the answer isn't clear. Does the iPad connect to any other wifi networks? If not, then you might have a problem with the iPad.

I have experienced a similar and frustrating problem (especially by them characterizing it as a few users). It seems more than just a "few" individuals are recognizing this issue. I bought my iPad (64gb) only one week ago. I set up the device by connecting through my daughters MacBook Pro. It took a few tries but I was able to connect to our home Wi-Fi router. Bought an app from the store. I am now unable to connect to the same third-party Wi-Fi router(well-known mfg). My daughter's MacBook does, my PC netbook does. I've read the Apple support info about not automatically rejoining known wi-fi networks; issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks... HELP

I seem to be having the same issues. I recently discovered that i could use my MacBook as a router via AirPort. My iPad seemed to work fine for a little while, but now the connection seems to be really sketchy. It has also begun to freeze/lock up if i leave the wifi ON. I have had to do a hard restart just to get it to turn on sometimes.

I see other people are having similar issues recently. Is there something wrong with a recent update? Should i just take my iPad in?
