Mac: Bluetooth mouse disconnecting after Sequoia update

I recently switched my Mac OS to sequoia and now my Bluetooth mouse keeps disconnecting. I can reconnect by clicking a button on the bottom of the mouse, but it seems silly to have to repeatedly do this. Fwiw, my Bluetooth keyboard does not lose connection. Has anyone else run into this?
