Why does MacBook Sequoia lose 20 GB while sleeping?

It's system loss and returns after SafeBooting. What AI found is that netbiosd was sending out calls to "Windows" devices, as in telling Windows devices they could also use the printer if I was hard-wired. However, if you're already using the printer via wi-fi then you don't need to send this call. So, in System Settings turn off Printer Sharing. I noticed this siphoning of GBs after updating. [You can also delete all but the latest snapshots of the HD, and stop netbiosd in the terminal.]


Maybe turn off other Sharing too. In general, use your own photo for the wallpaper. Turn Genie to the other browser handling. Don't mirror things onto your computer. Stop Mail on your computer. Don't make browsers Transparent. Don't let the screen change from day to night. Purge Final Cut Pro cache files and re-render (better yet, precut with Quicktime before insertion). Stop cloud data can mirroring on your computer.
