Season Pass option unavailable for TV show

I have used Season passes multiple times in the past and had no issue. However, I thought I bought a season pass for S8 of The Rookie last week but it only seems to have bought 1 episode. No big deal except now when I look again, it tells me S8 has already been "purchased" in full (even though it hasn't. It originally only bought the first episode). I only have the option to buy individual episodes. It's not a huge deal but I'd rather pay the season pass price instead of overpaying by getting them individually. Has anyone run into this or have a solution?

Please note that a Season Pass for a TV show gives access to episodes as they are released (no advance access). Meaning that season 8, episode 2 should be released now or real soon now, and episode 3 will be released next week, and so on.

Please check your purchase history to find out if you actually purchased one episode or the full season.

To correct any unintended or accidental errors, please contact the Apple Media Services staff.

It says “Purchased” for Season 8, so you already have the Season Pass for it. You’ll have to wait until the studio gives Apple the media or lift the embargo based on time and date. That might be a day or so after cable network airing (for your undisclosed country — which may differ from first airing in a different country). Contact the Apple Media Services staff if it takes too long.

There is no evidence on that site that I ever purchased a season pass; the only subscriptions shown are iCloud and AppleTV (monthly sub).

The Season Pass is not a subscription, and will therefore not be listed among your subscriptions. (But subscription charges would be listed in your purchase history.)

I tried "View your purchase history" and the season pass doesn't show up there either. I tried going to reportaproblem.apple.com, and the only selections available were "I want a refund" "I'm reporting a scam" or "Reporting offensive, illegal, or abusive content".

Below those options at the top, you should find a list of all your previous purchases in reverse chronological order (new to old), if signed in with the matching Apple Account. Depending on your recent number of transactions with Apple, you may have to scroll down a bit. The support staff would be helped best by getting the listed Order Number (a string of probably 10 letters and digits) for that specific transaction.

You may also find a purchase confirmation email in your email archive. Then you can see the date there, which may help finding the Season Pass faster in the purchase history list, which is ordered by date.

There is also no link anywhere where I can send an email to Apple to request help.

In general, Apple doesn’t do support through email, unless THEY request that.

Contact the Apple Media Services staff - Apple Support. After optionally selecting a country, and filling in the form with a short description of your issue [“Tell us what’s happening”], you would get contact options, often by phone or sometimes through chat. You can also phone directly.

I had to go to the TV app on my iPhone to get the season pass. I was unable to find any option on the Apple TV device's AppleTV app for purchasing. The phone does show that I purchased the full season pass, and it'll let me go to other episodes (via a link to "get other episoded") - but I don't want to watch on my phone, I want to watch on my AppleTV. And, as the OP noted, I've only gotten the first episode, though The Rookie is 4 or 5 episodes in, now.

I have only one Apple Account. No further suggestion is offered in that section. There is also no link anywhere where I can send an email to Apple to request help.

tl;dr - I would like to download the episodes of The Rookie that I have purchased via the season 8 pass without having to pay for them individually; I would even consider paying yet again to purchase the season 8 pass, but that does not appear as an option.
