Tahoe 26.2 is leaving photos, calendar and weather on my computer screen. HELP!

Just updated my computer to Tahoe 26.2. Now screens are showing up on my computer that wont leave no matter what I press. Calendar, Photos and weather are on my opening page and wont leave. How do I get rid of them? I tried hiding them and deleting them. They wont go away.

iMac 24″, macOS 26.2

Secondary-click (right click, two-finger click) on the desktop, select Edit Widgets, then click the (–) in the corner of each widget.
