Using Airplay speaker via Apple Music and Spotify via MacBook Air M4

I use a BOSE Speaker 500 via Airplay. When I try to connect Apple Music my MacBook air M4 with the latest macOS computer say I cannot find this speaker in the wifi net. It happens often. When I try Spotify it connects immediately via Airplay. And efter that Apple Music connects when going back to Apple Music.

Any hint why? Some setting to investigate?

Via Apple fantastic support I found out that my MacBook and speaker were connected to different networks. My router sends both 5G and 2,4G. The speaker was 'only' able to connect to 2,4G. When I switched my Mac to 2,4G it connected immediately.

My thinking is the why the speaker connected to my Mac now and then despite the 2 were connected to two different networks. from my router? and in addition why Spotify connected to the 2,4G connected speaker....

  • 1
  • 6
  • 11

Dessa överlappar inte varandra.

Så gör du

  1. Logga in i routern (t.ex. Tele2 WiFi Hub C1).
  2. Gå till Wi-Fi / Trådlösa inställningar.
  3. Leta efter Channel / Kanal.
  5. Starta om högtalaren.

Detta kan minska:

  • paketförluster
  • hack i ljudet
  • att AirPlay tappar kontakten.

Ett snabbt test

Du kan också testa stabiliteten så här:

  1. Spela musik via AirPlay från din Apple MacBook Air.

Now I have the speaker connected to the same network as my MacBook Air and iPhone 6 pro max.

I notice that the MacBook Air airplay connection is more in-stable compared to my iPhone 16 pro max airplay connection.

Meaning the connection goes up and down re my MacBook Air.

Both the iPhone and MacBook are placed at the same location/place
