Several times in the last few weeks I have noticed that my watch is not fast charging when put on my apple puck. If I restart the watch the fast charging is back for a few days and then stops again. Restart the watch and it returns. Any suggestions? I am on the most recent apple watchOS 26.2.
To rule out a software issue inside your backup data, erase the watch and pair it again, setting it up as a new device. You will only lose your created Watch faces and may have to activate the cards in your Wallet app again.
Then test the fast charging again.

On your Apple Watch, go to Settings > Battery. Be certain optimized charging is off (under Battery Health). You should likely also not use Low Power Mode.
