Thank you for the screenshots and additional explanation.

Rotate your iPad from Portrait to Landscape orientation - and then, if necessary, switch from using the floating keyboard to the full on-screen keyboard using the two-finger “zoom” gesture (i.e., the reverse of the two-finger “pinch”).

If the Split Keyboard is restored instead of the full on-screen keyboard, you can either use two fingers (one on each of the two half-keyboards) and swipe the two halves together - or touch-and-hold the “keyboard” key, then slide your finger to the Merge & Dock option and release.

To easily return the new Floating Keyboard to the normal on-screen keyboard presentation, use the two-finger “zoom” gesture (i.e., the reverse of the two-finger “pinch”).

I am indeed struggling to understand the problem that you are attempting to describe. If English is not your first language, it can be difficult to explain precisely what is happening and the circumstances in which the issue is observed.

Consider posting a screenshot of precisely what it is that you see - as this may help myself and other contributors to understand the nature of your problem. If posting a screenshot, please ensure that you have redacted the image (using markup tools) to obscure any personal or sensitive information:
