"MacBook Air: Website not opening, how to clear cache?: I clicked on Safari.... Settings....Privacy.....Website data. Scrolled until I found the website giving me trouble and deleted it. Website opened right up. I can't remember the wording of the error message and of course now can't duplicate it."

-------

Clearing the Caches Elsewise:

I. First: Unhide the Developer Menu on Safari

  1. Go to: Safari menu
  2. Selec: Settings
  3. Click: Advanced
  4. Enable: Show features for web developers (Screenshot 1)

Then...

II. Empty the Caches in the Developer Menu:

  1. Click: Developer menu
  2. Select: Empty Caches(Screenshot 2)
