Magic Mouse scrolling not working on MacBook Air M2

Hi. I just bought an Apple Magic Mouse and it will not scroll. It is fine with clicking, but the scroll function is not working. I am using a MacBook Air M2, 2022. I have tried going into setting to turn on scrolling for the mouse, but cannot find where in settings it is. I attached a screenshot of what my mouse settings looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
