MacBook Pro Wi-Fi disconnects with Ethernet on macOS 26.2

macOS 26.2 (25C56) running on a Macbook Pro (M1 Max chip). When I disconnect the Ethernet cable, wifi connects just fine. But when I connect the cable, wifi remains connected for a few seconds, then disconnects. 26.2 is just plain weird.
