Trust This Computer? Keeps Happening

I keep seeing "Trust This Computer?" come up on my iPhone. I've told it to trust my computer many times and it keeps coming back. I've restarted it, deleted backups. I've tried connecting it through USB-C, and WiFi.

Anybody have any insight? Not sure what to do anymore.

If this happens when you are not trying to connect to the computer, possibly you have turned on the option "connect this iphone when on wifi" (wording may differ) in the sync panel when your iphone is connected intentionally to the Mac.

Connect the iphone to your computer by cable then uncheck that option.
