I’ve had the iPhone 15 Plus since October 2024, and the battery health is at 90% with 340 charging cycles.
Is this normal?
I also used to set the charging limit to 85% all the time until now.
These days I downloaded a game, and because it drains the battery quite a bit, I changed the charging limit to 95%.
Is this limit okay, or do you think charging it up to 95% will damage the battery?
There is no benefit in using charge limit, despite it being offered as a sop to worried users. As you can see your battery has aged slightly faster that expected in the first half of its life. It will age slower in year 2.
You should charge your phone every night, all night, to 100%, with Optimised Charging on, not charge limit.
(Using 95% limit now, you start tha day with 95% x 90% = 85.5% of an optimal charge)

My battery was at 99% before September started, but for 2 months I had mobile data on 24/7 because I didn’t have internet where I was living. That’s why the battery dropped so quickly.I was also using my iPhone as a hotspot.
