Data is no longer syncing from iPhone and cannot recover due to old Mac pro.

My iPhone has stopped syncing messages, keychain, etc., air tags have stopped working and I cannot pair new air tags, and the phone keeps prompting:

"Your Apple Account settings need to be updated so this iPhone can use end-to-end encryption."

The problem is I cannot complete the update process because it is asking for the password for a Mac pro I no longer have. The Mac pro was a work-issued device that was retired two years ago, and probably long-since recycled. I do not have the password, and do not have the Mac to reset the password.

How do I remove the Mac from my account so that my data resumes syncing from my iPhone?
