How to add TIFF option for image conversion in Preview on MacBook Pro?

I want to convert my jpeg to tiff using preview in MacBook Pro, the quick action for convert image has no tiff option only png, HEIC, jpeg option. How to include the tiff option

You can't include a tiff option. That tool does what it does and that's it.


However, you can add a new Quick Action using Automator. Create a new Quick Action type. Then choose the "Change type of images" action and follow the prompts.


You might even be able to use this feature to create your own conversion tool instead of the one provided by the system. It sure wouldn't be difficult to improve on this:


Apple builds an interface like this and then expects us to follow their lead on design? smh


Also, I want to point out two things. Limnos is correct. It's a bad idea to convert a JPEG to a TIFF. You gain nothing and lose disk space. When I tested my TIFF converter Quick Action, all it did was convert a 1.1 MB PNG file into a 12.6 MB TIFF file.


Also, you can just use Preview itself to perform these conversions. These Quick Actions don't impress me very much.
