Turning off contacting emergency services for fall detection on Apple Watch
I have discovered when using fall detection on the Apple Watch, there is no way to stop it from calling emergency services instead of emergency contacts. However, one Apple support post said that fall detection won’t call emergency services if wrist detection is off. So I am curious how it affects the functions on the watch if you turn off wrist detection. Also does that make fall detection no longer work? Does it still notify your Emergency contacts? Or does it not notify anyone if there is a fall? I really wish that Apple would change this so that we can choose whether or not emergency services are contacted when there’s a fall
