Hi, and welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community.

Re: "Subscription overcharged , when asked Expert Easy exit without any explanation".

Of course, we have no access to your accounts or details & personal details are not to be displayed publicly.

Seems it may be a good idea to first look carefully through your purchase history online:

View your purchase history for the App Store and other Apple media services - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"How to see your purchase history online

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  2. Sign in with your Apple Account and password to see a list of your purchases.
  3. If you're not sure what you were charged for but know the amount of the charge, search for the amount.

Learn what to do if you can't find the item that you’re looking for or if you find unexpected charges."

Eg: ✽ For a new subscription: You may have been charged for the current month when you subscribed,

and, shortly after, charged for the coming month up ahead ?

✽ We can't tell just what those $63.99 charges in your screenshot were for.

(Sometimes various charges / media-purchases etc. are grouped together in one amount.)

Charges can be for apps, subscriptions, music, film purchases, or more.

✽ Is it possible you accidentally subscribed more than once ? If so, you can cancel a Music subscription.

✽ It's not impossible for scammers / impersonators with access to your personal info. to make fake charges.

These could appear on your card-statement, yet not in your purchase history, (ie: no money went to Apple.)

You would need to talk with your card-provider : more info if you scroll down in User Tip below:

Thank you for your reply, and for sharing what you done, and what you have been going through in investigating the charges. Sorry you have been going through so much already, without uncovering a sure-fire resolution, as yet.

Re: "Please prove to me that these are not related to my subscription charges".

As we are all Apple users, like yourself, in the community, volunteering our time to do what we can to help each other, no-one here has any access to your accounts or details of charges in order to help with those, or to prove anything about them. Apple is not here.

Am no expert, myself. Have tried in my earlier reply to provide you with much of the trouble-shooting info. that is available to us all, in order to assist.

Apple is unlikely to see anything you post here. So it is good you have spoken with one of their experts. Even if they could not help, at least you found out that Apple has no record of any extra payments being charged or received using your account. Seems there are no extra charges to investigate from their end.

Seems Apple has explained there is no record of the extra payments, or extra auto-payments in their system. Eg: If someone else has obtained the details for your payment card, that person could be using those card-details to purchase products or auto-pay a subscription using their own Apple Account. There would be no record in your Apple account, only in their own Apple purchase-history. The only record you would see would be on your card-provider's statements.

Have you also considered that the extra charges may appear to be legitimately from Apple, yet the transaction / money didn't go to Apple at all. If some-one got hold of enough of your details they may be faking that the charges are from Apple, masking who the money really goes to ... seems it has happened many times, and with other businesses and merchants besides Apple.

I got an Apple billing message but the billing doesn't appear in my account details

Thank you kindly for sharing what you have tried, and what you have gone through.

Seems the extra charges would appear on your bank statement, and yet are not in your Apple Account purchase history. Sorry that your efforts in trying to reclaim your hard-earned money have not found a solution.

Please remember, this is a user-to-user forum, so no-one here has any access to your accounts or details of charges in order to help with those, or to prove anything about them. We can only commiserate, for there is nothing anyone here can do.

In general, our contact with Apple itself is no different from what is available to you.

If there is a possibility that someone has got your account details (or even your payment method financial details) and is faking or diverting Apple Music charges from your account to Apple, then you would be wise to change your Apple Account password.

Thank you for your response 🙏,

Regarding overcharges, I have spoken with my bank service provider. They informed me that these are Apple’s auto-charges to my account, not bank to charge . The bank only applies a 1.95% international transaction fee for cross-border transactions. Since these are auto-deductions, the bank cannot initiate a dispute.

When I spoke with an Apple expert, they advised me to contact the bank and stated they were unable to verify the charges. I have only authorized auto-debit for my Apple Music subscription—there are other active subscriptions my dispute is for not legit deduction .

My bank explained: “There is a VISA authorization code for the transaction in the picture, and merchants should be able to use the relevant authorization code to query the corresponding transaction in the VISA system.”

If Apple cannot provide an explanation for these charges, who can? I have supplied every detail they need: VISA authorization number, transaction number, auto-debit activation account details—everything required to verify the transactions. They are not responding, which suggests this is their mistake. My bank will issue a transaction verification if there are charges differing from my active subscription.

I have been in the Apple ecosystem from the iPhone 3 to the 14 and family too in this ecosystem . I never thought I would need to check billing statements, or that there could be such underhanded tactics to siphon money. When asked, they claim they don’t charge three times for my single subscription every month—but this has been happening for a long time, not just one month.

Please prove to me that these are not related to my subscription charges. I have sent them each transaction and billing detail; provide me with the details of any other charges. These are not false claims—this is exactly what they have charged me. I have attached what the bank has explained for this dispute.

thankyou for your response , i have talked im detail with expert as well as my authorized bank . I am sure if it is apple auto debit any service provider dont have any right to question / see / hold/ any service charges because it is directly authorized by the user and apple. Bank only take the service charges from those transaction i.e fees only .

When i check transaction history there is only 1 active auto debit authorization by me from bank to apple . It is same subscription charge me 3 times and issue 1 bill and other 2 bills are not seen it is obvious they will not issue other bills . The transaction itself showing it is charged by apple for apple music then it is them to make that charges .they have every visa transaction code which can show the details and since apple is responsible to give me answer . I have never know / see such response from apple .

This may not be a big transaction/ money for apple but as a user as a person myself even a penny what i have have worked and earned and pay to get the service that are provided by apple . And when same trust broke with multiple charges why me as user to take that all loss .is there possible for 1 device 1 apple id 3 apple music subscription??? No one is dumb to pay 3 times a month .and who will throw money without any question . If there is my mistake they have to mark what is my mistake . If it is apple then give me the answer for all those transaction. If i am authorized to attach i can attach all transcation details , visa code issued before auto debit authorization.

M i wrong here ?
