I want to switch my t-mobile apple tv plus account to apple so I can pay yearly. I can save money doing this. I haven't been charged for this month yet so do I just cancel at t-mobile and enroll here? I don't want to lose my settings or my account when I do this. Anyone know how?

If you cancel, wait until it actually expires, and then shortly after that re-subscribe, then your account settings will be preserved.
While it isn’t stated in public support documents, I think the grace period to remember settings may be about 30 extra days. But of course you wouldn’t have access to the service while the subscription isn’t active.
