Apple Watch: Toggling Detect Gym Equipment for Peloton

My wife and I upgraded to a Titanium 11 and Ultra 3. We are avid Peloton bike exercisers.. The only way to get our watches to connect to the Peloton bike is to go into Settings->Workout turn off “detect gym equipment” and then turn it back on. I suspect this is an Apple Watch issue. Can someone please fix…
