“iPhone 15 Pro charges past 80% limit

iPhone charges over 80%, even when the limit is set to 80%. iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 26.2) is set to have charge limit to 80%. However it appears to charge over 80% for some reason. Any explanation for this behavior?”

Toggle ON Optimized Battery Charging:

While your AirPods are connected, go to the AirPods settings, and toggle ON "Optimized Battery Charging". That can cause odd things to occur, particular to charging. So, then turn it back off. It looks a bit dulled out, however. So, make sure they are connected while making the change.
