How to stop Spotlight from searching the web on Mac?

Hi,

How can I stop spotlight from searching that world wide web?

I consulted Turn off Siri Suggestions for Spotlight on Mac – Apple Support (UK) as suggested by another posting on this forum.

But I did all that, with attached screenshot as proof.

Please advice, any help is appreciated.

Background: I prefer to do web searches inside an internet browser using a search engine I pay $10 per month for. When I launch Spotlight it to do a local search on my machine. This is conceptually different: local - web. My stuff, other people's stuff (and ai slop).
