How to adjust bookmark display and organization on iPad?

Can we change how Bookmarks are displayed? With the latest updates (26.1 etc) bookmarks have changed.

1) On my iPad, when I file a bookmark, they are split into 2 different areas. 1) under bookmarks and 2) under Favorites, then bookmarks. I never know where to find my bookmark. Is there something I could be doing to prevent this?

2) There is so much description under each bookmark, the bookmark page is long (if you have a lot of bookmarks) and messed up with all these descriptions that make it harder to zone in on what you want. Perhaps it's me? Is there a choice on how they can be displayed, so you can put it back to just the titles of the bookmarks w/o the descriptions?
