Photoshop elements opened in the Czech language on MacBook Pro

This morning, I tried to open Photoshop Elements on my MacBook Pro and at random, it opened in the Czech language...and won't allow me to do anything. This has never happened before and I have not installed a new operating system or anything that might have caused this. What caused it and how do I correct it?

You can go to System Settings > Language & Region > Applications

and configure this app to launch in your desired language.

I can't speculate about what might have caused it. I don't know anything about that app. Perhaps it has some kind of auto-update mechanism?

I can tell you that my app is localized in only English and French. I regularly get support e-mails from people in Switzerland complaining that the app is mysteriously running in French. The operating system has some knowledge of where languages are used. If an app supports a given language, and the OS thinks you might prefer that language, then it will give you that instead of English. You can use the procedure above to override that settings.
