Fishy smell from power outlet on iPad
I had my iPad for a little over a year (I only use it at night to read) when in October I started noticing a fishy smell on my hands when going to bed, I threw out hand cream, changed laundry detergent and literally ripped apart my nightstand trying to figure out what it was. Eventually I realized it was emanating from the power outlet on the iPad. I brought it to the store and they’ve replaced the iPad 2x in the last few weeks. My supposed new one started smelling fishy last night..I have only used the charger they directed I use to charge it.. the smell is terrible and gets onto everything and I’ve had it. Am I able to insist they replace this iPad with the newer model since clearly these older iPads are having battery leakage issues? I have apple care until june
