The Apple TV 4K models (A1842 or later) should have a 1 Gbps ethernet port.

The Apple TV HD (4th generation) (A1625) would have a 100 Mbps ethernet port, not 1 Gbps.

What is your exact model Apple TV box?

If you have any network devices (switch, hub, splitter, powerline adapter, etc.) in between, then please check their maximum throughput, as one of those could be a bottleneck.

The Apple TV box (any model) takes video streaming media from streaming services at about 25 Mbps or less, so your connection is more than enough either way.
