MacBook Air M2 System Data suddenly large
My mac system data has become very large all of a sudden.
I usually have approximately ~150 GB free on my 512 GB MacBook Air M2, but suddenly free space has shrunk to 1 GB - I haven't used my mac for a day, so it's definitely not because I've got some new big files to clog it up. I've emptied my trash and some unnecessary files - got 30 GB free, but it's still a problem cause I haven't downloaded any big files to clog up the storage that much. I looked at the system data panel and it showed 213 GB, that's way too many.
What should I do? What may be the cause of the problem?
P.S. It's unavailable in my country to pay for CleanMyMac app, so please don't suggest it to clean up the storage :(
