I'm going to guess that you are referring to a Mac rather than to an iPhone or iPad.

Photos doesn't offer that type of sorting. I'm usually more interested in resolution than file size, but when I want to do that sort of thing I use the trusted 3rd party app PowerPhotos ($40.) This has very helpful sortable list views. Here's an example of something I was just looking at:

PowerPhotos does way more than this.

They offer a free "trial" version that may do the list views--I'm not sure. In any case, many of us have used this software since the iPhoto days, and we find it indispensable, especially for dealing with multiple Libraries.

PowerPhotos operates on the Photos Library on your Mac. You can delete items in PowerPhotos, and those items will be deleted from your Photos Library on your Mac, being moved to the Recently Deleted album there. If you use iCloud Photos, then your iCloud Photos Library will always be exactly the same as the Mac Library.

If you're more comfortable deleting things in Photos (like I am,) then in PowerPhotos you can copy selected items to an album in Photos, and then you can go to that album with the Photos app and examine them further or do with them what you like. Just like in Photos, when you drag a picture to an album, it doesn't affect any other album.

PowerPhotos is very secure and dependable. Any time I work with Photos, I have PowerPhotos open, too.
