Unable to upvote a comment on Apple Community

New members have limits on the number and frequency of upvotes that are allowed. There is no specific number or time frame that is documented. Once you gain points by helping others, you will gain additional privileges.

The best way to assist on this Support Site is to answer questions that are helpful to others where they can upvote your post. Beyond that Upvoting has very little effect in providing assistance and that is the purpose of this site.

UpVoting while you are Logged Into the Apple Support Communities has No Limitation

As outlined by my colleague @ Mac Jim ID, while NOT LOGGED INTO the Apple Support Communities Does have limitations

I can share my anecdotal experience. I was limited to 5 votes/day until fairly recently. Upvoting both questions & comments as well as selecting ‘me too’ all contributed to that total. I don’t think I have a limit anymore. I’m not sure at what point exactly my training wheels were removed, but it took me a couple years to get there. Tbh, I kinda found the limit to be a discouraging constraint.

PS Thx for taking the time to actively participate long enough to hit your the limit. 🙃
