iPad Safari 'Too many requests' error after restart

I shut down my ipad. When I restarted it I got an error message on Safari when I tried to open AOL. Edge: Too many requests. Other sites will not open either.

"Too many requests." is usually an issue with the site you are trying to visit. Do any other site show htis smae behavior?

Thanks. Yes, I could not get on Yahoo.com. But......Miraculously after four hours, everything started working. What puzzled me is the error notice referenced, Edge. I don't have that browser and have never used it.
