HomePod controls not working away from home (cellular) after iOS 26 update

Controls not available on HomePod and HomePod mini after update to iOS 26. It used to work fine before but not anymore.

Still works while connected to same WiFi, but not while remote, away from home (not on the same WiFi).

Hard reset done on both devices, often restarted and also the router for it to work.
