Problems under Tahoe with LED Cinema Display (27") built-in camera

I have just upgraded my Mac Mini M4Pro from running OS 15.7.2 to OS 26.2 Tahoe. I have a venerable Apple LED Cinema Display 27" attached to it. The Cinema Display has a built in camera which for years I've used for conference calls. I now find I can no longer access the camera. In 'About this Mac > More Info > Hardware > Camera' the Mac Mini sees no camera although it does recognise it is connected to the Cinema Display. It worked under OS 15.7.2 so I'm guessing this is an issue with Tahoe. Anyone else encountered this? Any work arounds?

I have the same issue MacMini M2 / Apple LED Cinema Display MiniDisplayPort with OS26, with OS 15.x it‘s running fine, I hope of a fix in next release

I am aware of a Beta Tahoe 26.3 that has now reached Beta 3

When exactly it maybe released only Apple could say

As to whether the issue with this somewhat older LED Cinema Display is fixed or not

We will have to Wait Patiently to see
