1) Connect the Lightning to HDMI Adapter to the iPad. For correct operation of the HDCP handshake that automatically occurs between the iPad and TV, it is important the the Adapter is connected to the iPad before the TV connection.
2) Connect your HDMI to HDMI cable to the TV's HDMI port - and then connect the cable to the Adapter.
3) If not already turned-on, switch-on the TV and select the HDMI input from the TV's controls. As all TVs differ, explicit instruction as to the controls sequence to do this is isn't possible.
