The call log will only store the last 100 entries, is that what you're talking about?
If so, you can always log into your profile page on your carrier's website and see a much longer list there.
A bit more context of the issue you are enquiring?
Trying to guess, note the list under Phone / Recents is kept purposefully limited, but the device stores a much longer record. Will need other apps to get it at the user level; for instance, I use the iMazing utility.
Even then, the logs will be trimmed eventually or else they would overflow storage.
Are you, by any chance, sharing an Apple ID?
Just for references sake, mein own iPhone 15 Pro Max displays 1487 records in Phone / Recent, oldest dating back to late Nov/2024, whereas iMazing is able to retrieve 2248 records dating to May/2023. Note I migrated over to the i15PM in Aug/25, so the call history migrated successfully. Phone no. remained the same, was transferred over from SIM to eSIM.
