I have an iPhone 15 and no longer have a subject line when I go to text. Everything online tells me to go to settings and click on "messages" and "show subject field" but "messages" is not showing under settings. Any suggestions?

You appear to be on iOS 26. In more recent iOS versions, most applications, including messages, now show in the separate "Apps" tab within settings. More specifically, you can find it at the very bottom of the settings application. Go there, look for messages. There, you should find the "show subject field" setting just with all other controls labeled "Text Messaging".
