AirDrop and Handoff not working between MacBook Air and iPhone 17?

handoff between MacBook Air and new iPhone 17 doesn’t work. And neither device shows up for the other when trying to airdrop??? Both have the latest updates and have rebooted also. Toggled on and off as well. What is going on?

WiFi and Bluetooth need to be enabled on both devices. Check to see if they are enabled.

Regarding Handoff, in addition to requiring both WiFi & Bluetooth, Handoff must be enabled on both devices and they both must be logged into iCloud with the same Apple Account. For more information see Use Handoff to continue tasks on your other devices - Apple Support
