Adapter to connect iPhone 13 to 2024 iMac

Strange the iPhone 13 ships with a USB-C to Lighting cable in the box and that cable should plug into the new iMac.

If you have a USB-A to Lighting charging cable, then you need a USB-C to USB adapter.

The iPhone 13 shipped with a Lighting to USB-C cable that should plug directly into the new 24" iMac.

That is just one example from a quality cable manufacturer. Whatever you do do not but cheap cables from any source. Only quality cables from reputable manufacturers and sellers.

You need a Lightning to USB-C adapter. There are plenty of choices for around $10.

Indeed it did den.thed but I'm betting 99% of iPhone users plug that cable into a charger port on day 1 and it never leaves that location for the life of the cable. I'm guessing that Islandgrandma needs a second one to live attached to the Mac also.
