I am trying to set up an email account from a domain I bought ending in .me. I cannot get the setup configuration from hosting to work. I import all the info, but it says I have no internet connection or my inputted info is wrong. Neither is correct. I can add other emails, but not this on, to my ipad. It installed on my phone with no issues.

Without specific account information (which you should not provide here), it is very difficult to provide explicit guidance - other than you should carefully check your account authentication settings, SSL and port parameters for your incoming and outgoing Mail servers.
Be aware that many Mail Providers that use static passwords for account authentication now require the use of an App-specific Password to be configured for each email client. App-specific passwords are typically generated by logging-in to your Mail Provider's web portal - and generating the unique password from your Mail Account.

You may have to set-up the email account manually instead of using the account setup wizard. To do so, you will need to obtain the account settings, including SMTP (outgoing) and incoming Mail Server information and port settings from your Mail Provider.
You should note that purchasing a domain name often does not automatically provide an email service or associated mail account.
“.me” is the country code Top Level Domain for Montenegro. Perhaps it’s not required in your use, but it may explain your issue.
A @me.com email address is a legacy Apple iCloud email from the MobileMe era (pre-2012), now fully functional as an iCloud Mail account. Users with these addresses can still send/receive emails and log into iCloud, often alongside @icloud.com or @mac.com aliases. It is accessed via iCloud.com or by adding the account to Apple devices.

Thanks for your input! I've tried manually as well as the as the auto setup. And i am aware email accounts are not automatically part of a domain. I've had this domain and email account for years. It didn't transfer to my new ipad and it isn't cooperating with setting it up. It works on my phone. I'm stumped.
