Tahoe does not work with Time Capsule

After upgrading to Tahoe 26.2 my MacBookAir M4 2025 does not connect with my Time Capsule anymore. Disc is not available. My wifes MacBookAir, still running on Sequoia has not any problems saving the files to the Time Capsule (we share it). There seems to be a problem with Tahoe - what can I do?

Others have started to report problems with Tahoe and Time Capsule, although it is officially still supported and that should continue until MacOS 27 comes out. But this post reporting problems like yours dates back from Sept 2025: time capsule won't backup in Tahoe!? - Apple Community

Since some are using Time Capsules still under Tahoe (you can see this by searching online), it seems likely that there is something in your configuration that stops working with this setup under Tahoe. Since Time Capsule won't work starting at the end of the upcoming summer with MacOS 27 it might be time to start planning to switch to external drives directly connected to your Mac anyway.
