Mac mini Mail stuck, not syncing after update

After updating Mac Mini to the latest software last week, Tahoe 26.2, my Mail is stuck 'moving messages' that I deleted or move to a folder. I'm using iCloud mail primarily with one other exchange account that I'm phasing out. All the emails that I delete or moved to folders still show up as unread in my inbox on my other MacBook and iPhone. Please help how to push the messages to complete moving and sync to my other devices in Mail.
