Siri mispronounces Apple Maps directions and dictation

Exactly the same issue here with Siri voices set to UK English. The female voice seems to have fewer issues. The Male voice was almost comical at the pronunciation of simple road names like “M6” - “Emma 6”. Only been an issue since the last major OS update. Hopefully fixable before a new OS in Sept/Oct.

Choose the correct language where the name is used correclty.

Add a keyboard of the desired language and if the language is supported for dictation then dictation language is automatically added under Settings > General > > Keyboard > Dictation Language

There isn't a strict language division between "Charli" and "Charlie." Both spellings are primarily used in English.

• Charlie: This is the more common spelling, traditionally used as a masculine name or a nickname for Charles.However, it's becoming increasingly popular as a unisex name.
• Charli: This is a less common variation, often seen as a more feminine or creative spelling of "Charlie." It can also be a nickname for Charlotte or Charlene.

While some sources suggest a German origin for "Charli," it's not widely recognized and both spellings are considered part of the English language.

My Siri mispronounces the letter A for state routes & exits. For example "CA 24" - in stead of "C" "A" he says "SEE-uh"; for "Exit 42A" he says "Exit forty-two-uh". He also sometimes mispronounces Spanish words such as "Las Positas". Instead of "Po-SEE-tas", he says "PAH-sit-tahs".

I don't want to change the voice; I like the voice. I picked it because I have some hearing loss and can't hear/understand some of the female voices. I would prefer to fix this and keep the voice I have.
