Apple watch haptics not working and cannot unpair because it won't allow me to put in a password.

I have been having Apple Watch issues for several weeks now - a year, really, but for 3 weeks, nothing is working. My haptics are not working for alarms. I have tried every troubleshooting step, and it is still not working. Today I went to UNPAIR and repair, and it won't allow me to put in my password to unpair my watch. These Apple glitches are getting out of control lately.

I have rebooted and hard reset both devices multiple times and cannot get the screen to allow me to put in my password. .... So what now? Any suggestions? The past year with glitches is serious making me reconsider Apple going forward, after being a loyal Apple user for 20 years. HELP.

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 26

Which Apple Watch do you use? Is the screen not responding to your input?

Can you type the password on the keyboard on your iPhone?

Make sure that on your iPhone in Settings/Notifications/Apple Watch keyboard is enabled.

Then bring your iPhone near the Apple Watch. When the watch asks for the password, you should get a message on your iPhone, asking, if you want to use the iOS keyboard to type the password and send it to the Apple Watch.
