Does Music in 26.2 still support joining CD tracks? It seems to be gone from the "gear" icon now. I'm on the CD track list and it's sorted by the left column as per usual. The option seems to be nowhere. Was it removed?
Not only can i NOT join CD tracks any more (horribly lame deprecation), but Music is now incredibly SLOW. If I'm in shuffle mode in my Songs, and click on another song to play it, it takes an average of 90 seconds to play that song - with the "beach ball" spinning merrily the entire time. It's almost mid-February and so many things are still broken in Tahoe that worked fine in the previous OS.
Why would they take this away? I get you can't jump at every little idea for a feature that someone throws your way, but I really don't get removing a useful feature that's already there. Joining CD tracks is necessary sometimes. If they do these things so there's one more little annoyance pushing me toward abandoning my music collection and paying them for their streaming service, they should know it has the opposite effect.
"Join CD Tracks" option is my favorite feature when I import music from CD with tracks divided whereas the music is continuous with "attacca".
I cannot imagine why Apple kill this great option in "Music" on Tahoe.
I have the same issue and it's very annoying that Apple would get rid of the "join tracks" from Apple Music!
