How to order app list in macOS Tahoe 26.2?
I just upgraded to macOS Tahoe 26.2. How can I order my list of apps the way _I_ want?
iMac 24″, macOS 26.2
My frequently used apps are located on the Dock.
If I ever needed to frequently use more apps, than would comfortably fit on the Dock, I would create a folder, put the folder on the Dock, then holding the Command+Option keys, I would drag apps into the folder, creating Aliases, which would make those select apps quickly available via the folder on the Dock.
I might even Control-Click on the folder in the Dock to specify how I want it displayed, and before putting the folder in the Dock I might even give it a pretty icon 😁.
For those that miss LaunchPad, and using the Apps Dock icon, Spotlight, or your own curated Dock folder is insufficient, there are some 3rd party LaunchPad replacement apps:
