I have a Series 7 watch. The latest watchOS (26.2.1) has just about bricked it. Screen stays black. Forced restart not working. I can "feel" haptics occassionally when I touch it, but that is it.
Anyone else experiencing a bricked watch with this OS?
How about the newer models?

I have a Series 11 and did the update yesterday but noticed no changes after doing that, presumably it included "bug fixes" but for me everything is working as before. Sleep score looks similar, workouts (one for an outside walk and another for an outside bicycling ride) look similar to previous ones. charging and discharging of battery hasn't changed (for me) either, although I see a few posts with every upgrade reporting something like that. Your experience sounds more serious, given that you already did a forced restart, I am wondering if you should schedule service for your watch with Apple?
I have an Apple Watch 11 and previously had the 9 and 7. None of the updates, including 26, have ever caused any issues. Try contacting Apple Support by tapping Support at the top or bottom of the page.
Is WatchOS 26.2.1 "bricking" watches (Series 7)?
