FaceTime camera flip button disappears after switching

I'm on FaceTime and the camera flip button disappears. I noticed that it only happens after I flip the camera and go back to frontal cam. I've tried restarting the phone, hanging up and calling again, but nothing works. I'm getting tired of this...
