OK. What happens when you try to install the update? Is there any error message? Do you have enough memory on your iPhone to install it? You need at least, if not more than 6GB of free space. Are you charged above 50%? Are you connected to Wifi?

Turn off the VPN if you are using one. Better yet, delete it.

Apple's servers may be overloaded at this point since other versions have also received updates.

There is some talk on the Internet about the update being pulled. I can't verify if that is the case.

Otherwise, the most common reason for Verification failure is lack of available free space on the iPhone. You probably need at least 10 GB of free space.

6s cannot run iOS 18. The best that it can do is iOS 15.8.6
