Not all jurisdictions support Drivers License in Apple Wallet. If you live in a state where it is supported, see this --> Add your driver's license to Apple Wallet - Apple Support

If you live somewhere it is not supported, this is not an Apple issue. Complain to your state officials as it's up to them to approve the addition of a drivers license digitally to Apple Wallet.

Thanks for the response, and I looked at the link you gave.

I do not live inside CONUS, US Military overseas, and was really interested as to if I could get my passport card into the wallet, and my green card from the country where I presently live.

Considering what I read from Apple support from your link, I am guessing that will probably not be possible, just yet. I could call the US consulate and ask them if it could work, but they are always so booked out on the phone to find the right person could take a long time.

Thank you sir for your help.

Oh that's cool. Thanks a lot for that link.

I meet all of the requirements except for the last one, and that is my Apple ID is set for Germany at the moment and not USA. My passport is the newest type, super thick, and is only a few months old so it should work too. I can of course always change the Apple ID, and change my VPN to somewhere in the US, but since even when this is finished it's not valid for re-entry into the US, its a lot of work for little use. I might as well stick to my passport and passport card for in country flight identification,

Lobsterghost1 thank you very much.

Jeff,

thanks for your response too. Much appreciated.

It is unfortunate but since the digital ID is not accepted yet for international travel, I will not take the time to load it into my phone. It would have been nice to be able to leave the Passport at home since the new ones are so bloody thick, and just use the iPhone, but that is not the case (yet) so international travels will for the time being, be as they were document wise.

thanks, and have a good afternoon,
