Which Airpods for iPhone 17 Pro Max

I've had Airpods pro for several years, always worked great with my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Just recently upgraded iPhone to 17 Pro max. Airpods will absolutely NOT work, cannot pair them.

I'm assuming (?) there's some incompatibility issue with new iPhone? I tried everything I could; resetting; restarting; un-pairing; re-pairing; cleaning; rebooting; etc., etc.

Looks like probably cannot with with my iPhone, I'm okay simply getting a new(er) set of Airpods, if that'll allow me to pair them successfully.

I wanted to ask: is there any specific model to get that can assuredly pair with y iPhone 17 pro max?

Troubleshoot AirPods Pairing:

All are designed to work, as they are compatible.

A. Turn Off ALL VPNs:

Do you have any VPNs Turned ON? If so, turn them off.

B. Bluetooth:

Disable Bluetooth on all but one device — the one device you want to synchronize with these with. On an iPhone, if already enabled, the disabled, and then enable Bluetooth. See if it connects.

C. Set Up Correctly:

Be certain you read these in full, as it mentioned different models....

D. Troubleshoot the Connection:
