Hi all,
I have an iphone 14pro. I recently updated ios to 26.2.1 and noticed that my system data decreased from over 10Gb to only 1Gb.
So right now system data shown as 1Gb only.
I see many people had issues with high memory use by system data, I am having the opposite :)
but is it normal to have such a low system data memory?

I don’t do much that needs caching, I guess. Rarely view Youtube, don’t stream music or other audio. Pretty light on texting.
That makes sense. Me on the other hand, I watch a lot of content on YouTube and with all the premium earubds I have I stream a lot of music using Qobuz, which is an AMAZING streaming service with super high bitrate.

Amazing. Mine hovers between 12 - 14GB at all times. Currently on iOS 26.2.1 it's 14.2GB. Not an issue though as my phone is 512GB.

Don’t feel bad I’m at 27.5. In my case I think it’s a combination of Safari and YouTube caches. It will occasionally be purged to between 15 and 20 GB. But never down around 10Gb.
