Non Apple ID Email Accounts
I have an apple email account, @icloud.com, separate from my apple id and apple email @me.com. I purchased a new iPhone and trying to add this account to Apple Mail, it is asking for a password which I can't remember.
I have tried to reset this password 4 times, with the same process and the same steps being give by apple chate and live support. Has anyone resolved this issue before and how?
- forgot password
- entered my phone #
- received a code from Apple
- Entered that code
- Apple response- Thank you, we are sorry we do not have enough data at this time, we will need 24 hours.
- 24 hours later - received email that said, we do not have enough data please wait 4 days and we will send you and email... and then nothing.
- checked the reset my password page and my account is clear to "reset my password" directions are the same as the previous 4 times..
